Cornwall has a long and beautiful coastline, with wonderful beaches many of which are excellent for surfing. There are also picturesque valleys and woodland. Overall it merits its place as the premier summer resort in Britain.Unfortunately, being in the west of England, even in high summer wind and rain can lash the beaches, the temperature can plummet and the coast can be shrouded in mist and drizzle.
