If you choose to purchase your wetsuit at the end of the hire period, NCW will discount the hire fee from the final price.

The NCW hire fleet

The NCW wetsuit hire fleet is made up of our own North Coast Wetsuits products. These are the same as our new NCW wetsuits.
Manufactured with premium materials, NCW wetsuits are robust, versatile and warm. We personally oversee the fitting process to make sure you leave The Rubber Shack comfortable, protected and ready for a longer session in the water.

Water and air temperatures vary across the year. High summer brings warmer conditions, winter is colder, and spring can often be the coldest time in the ocean.
NCW wetsuits come in a variety of thicknesses to fend off the chill. Whatever the time of year, we’ll make sure you’re fitted with the right wetsuit for the conditions.

We supply premium hire wetsuits for kids and adults alike. Especially with NCW kid’s suits, these are proper wetsuits—not cheaply made, thinner suits that do more harm than good.
Our children’s wetsuits are highly regarded because they deliver great performance and are designed with youngsters’ best interests in mind.
We also hire wetsuit accessories such as gloves, boots and hoods.

As well as wetsuits, NCW hires wetsuit boots, gloves and hoods. Like our suits, every accessory is made to perform and will enhance your cold-water sessions in Cornwall.

Everything you need to know about UK-wide hire, caring for your wetsuit and NCW’s hire terms.
NCW hire terms & conditions
- NCW wetsuit and accessory hire is charged as shown above.
- Hire periods outside of this are by prior arrangement only.
- NCW hire equipment is the responsibility of the individual.
- Damage incurred is chargeable at NCW’s standard repair rate of £30 per hour.
- Collection and return of all NCW hire equipment is the individual’s responsibility. Late returns result in additional charges.
- Customer credit/debit card details are taken as insurance at collection.
- North Coast Wetsuits is not liable for any accident compensation while hire equipment is in use.
Hire wetsuit care
Return all NCW hire kit clean, reusable and without damage. Rinse it with fresh water after every use and hang it to dry in a ventilated area.
Please do not fold or crease your wetsuit. This will damage it.
Any damage found on return is charged at NCW’s standard repair rate, starting at £30 per hour.
UK-wide wetsuit hire
If you’re based elsewhere in the UK, you can still hire an NCW wetsuit. Pay postage both ways and we’ll ship a premium NCW wetsuit for your chosen duration.

Fitting & collection
A badly fitting wetsuit won’t do you any favours. A properly fitting suit helps keep you comfortable and protected, extending your water sessions.
Our hire service is tailored to the individual or group. We oversee the fitting process and personally check the correct fit before you leave The Rubber Shack.
