NCW kid’s winter chest zip suits are 5/3mm, offering plenty of flex for up and coming stand up surfers, they are made from super stretch neoprene. The special blend of neoprene we use in our kids winter wetsuits is soft and comfortable super stretch which kids are happy to wear whilst giving a warm and snug fit.

Features included in our kids winter wetsuits:

• High quality “Comfort Super Stretch” neoprene for good snug and comfortable fit.
• All seams glued and blind stitched to prevent cold water seapage.
• Spot-on tape at critical pressure joints of seams for added strength.
• Chest and back panels feature durable anti wind chill finemesh neoprene exterior and plush lined heat holding insulative interior.
• Interior lining made with low water absorption materials for quick drying.
• Anti flush envelope over head entry system.

NOTE : Chest zip suits are top entry via the shoulder width of the suit and you have to pull the neck envelope over your head to zip closed. If your child has issues with tight fitting garments this may not be the suit for you. Even kids that may not initially like this style of wetsuit entry tend to get on fine with it once they have used the suit a few times. Kids & Juniors 5mm Winter Wetsuits can be tricky to size as kids of all ages comes in different shapes and sizes! As a result it is best to measure (per the diagram below) from their lower ankle (where trousers would end) across the front of the body to the lower centre neck (where a t-shirt crew neck centre would sit). The result will give you the measurement for the sizes in cm.

NOTE  : The ages below are only a guide. For that reason you really need to measure as above to get the right fit. A snug fit is one of the most important factors in a winter wetsuit. Therefore please don’t be tempted to order your kids winter wetsuit in a size far larger than they need so it will last them longer. Junior Medium ages 11 / 12 – 116cm
Junior Large, ages 13 / 14 – 123cm
Junior XL – 14 / 16 – 135cm (overall height approx. 5′ to 5’5″)
Junior XXL – 14 / 16 – 145cm (overall height approx. 5’5″ to 5’10”)

Chest and waist on junior XL & XXL are the same, fitting up to 33″ chest and 29″ waist (at stretch, so slimmer is fine).
