Kid’s winter wetsuits – in fact, kid’s wetsuits and wetsuit accessories in general – are a specialty of NCW. And with Feb half term 2024 just around the corner wetsuits for kids are an essential item. NCW suits – of all types – are premium quality but without the costly price tag. Our wetsuits are manufactured to top spec but don’t cost a fortune. Cheap wetsuits if you will. But not cheap quality.
Kid’s winter wetsuits for half term.
Kid’s winter wetsuits are essential for families who love their watersports. February is coming in quick – it’s next week! And we know school holidays are a time when families aim to get away. Either at home or abroad. On top of this, the Easter holidays aren’t too far away either – everything’s early. And whilst we may still be in winter there’ll be plenty looking to emerge from hibernation and get wet.

Whether you be an adult or a child you’ll need good quality wetsuit gear for any kind of waterpsorts or surfing in the UK. This is right through the year as well. Even during high season surfers require rubber. There may be days when it’s warm and sunny, resulting in less ‘clothing’ being needed. But it’s hardly Hawaii! Kid’s winter wetsuits are therefore essential – as we’ve said elsewhere.
What’s the weather looking for half term 2024?
Looking out the window at time of writing and the weather’s damp and grey. However, the Met Office long range weather forecast suggests we could be on for something brighter moving forward. See quote below –
Sunday 11 Feb – Tuesday 20 Feb
Remaining unsettled initially with further rain and hill snow across the far N, elsewhere a mixture of sunny intervals and rain showers. Thereafter a trend toward more settled, but likely cold conditions is favoured with snow showers tending to focus on eastern coasts. Elsewhere, a decent amount of dry weather, but with some hard overnight frosts and a risk of ice.
Kid’s winter wetsuits for overseas half term watersports adventures.
If you’re heading abroad for a week of winter sun and surfing then we salute you. With kids and surfing or watersports in mind, however, it’s important to remember children get cold even when it’s warmer. Plenty of our existing parent customers use NCW kid’s winter wetsuits for their offspring all year round. This ensures great protection from the elements and comfort in the water.
Also, don’t forget NCW does a range of wetsuit accessories for kids including thermal rash vests and so on. Your kids may be hardy, and need less protection (especially if somewhere warm and sunny). A thinner, but still well priced and performance orientated kit may therefore be your choice.
