‘Fly’ with NCW’s 4/3mm wetsuit – warm up with NCW’s rigging jacket.

Winter proper is certainly getting closer – there are no two ways about it. But whilst we’re not quite there yet water and air temperatures remain still fairly warm. Especially coastal waters. Not everywhere, we appreciate, but a large portion of our seas have yet to see proper frigid thermometer readings.

Autumn weather remains a topsy turvy affair this season. One minute it’s blowy and grey, the next it’s super sunny and warm. Overnight and early mornings are cool. But during the middle part of the day, if the sun’s out, it’s pretty balmy in areas.

Flying over water with NCW’s 4/3mm wetsuit in eFoil mode.

Wetsuit wise it can be a tricky time of year. What to wear? A 5mm will be too hot whereas a 3mm will see riders getting too cold. Fortunately, this is where NCW’s unisex 4/3mm wetsuit can come in handy. Specially designed for shoulder seasons with weather such as the described it’ll keep you toasty when needed but equally you won’t overheat. Just the right amount of Yamamoto rubber then. And even more good news: the NCW 4/3mm is still on sale! So you’ve time to grab a bargain whilst stocks last.

Another handy piece of NCW garb is our hooded rigging jacket. When you finish your watery antics you’ll want to make sure you stay warm and cosy. Of course, a change robe will do a good job. The beauty of the NCW rigging jacket is that it can also be worn as an extra layer on/in the water. So if, such as our subject in the pix, decided he needed an extra layer whilst eFoiling he could don the jacket and head back out for more fun. And once back on land it’ll keep riders super toasty during pack up.

Both the NCW 4/3mm wetsuit and hooded neoprene rigging jacket can be found in the webshop via the links above. Give us a holla if you have any questions about either of these products.
