Wetsuit tears are a common occurrence – especially if you’re wearing yours regularly. There could be a whole host of reasons why it happens. Snagging your rubber on a reef. Maybe nicking it on a surfboard fin. Or perhaps there’s another reason. Whatever the cause it’s truly annoying, we know. But fear not as NCW and super seamstress Becci is here to save the day.
As we’ve mentioned on a few occasions NCW is now able to offer wetsuit repairs and alterations. If you can’t get a wetsuit or wetsuit accessory (such as fin socks) to fit then we can alter the garment to get it snug and cosy. And should you damage your wetsuit we’re also able to help with repairs?
You can see an example of a recent wetsuit repair in the video above. The suit had come into contact with something sharp. But the tear was no match for Becci’s skills. And pretty soon it was sorted and good as new.
