Late September Indian Summer flights – wind and wing foil style.

With weather still warm, and waters following suit, it’s a crying shame (in our opinion) to miss out on some immersive fun and frolics. There’s plenty of incentive to get wet. And whilst it might be neoprene wetsuit weather now – as there’s a bit of wind chill about – your standard 3/2mm will more than cover you (literally) and keep any cool at bay.

Many of you who follow NCW’s blog regularly will be aware of our hydrofoiling leanings and our sister site Foilshop UK. For all our content we like to be out the water testing and putting new products through their paces to see what’s what. From a credibility point of view, this is imperative as it means we’ve actually used the gear and can talk to customers from an actual participation stand point. And this goes for our wetsuits also. (In the pics you’ll spot both NCW’s new 3/2mm suit and Typhoon Kona wetty proving their worth).

It won’t be long before winter rocks in fully at which point it’ll be 5/3mm steamers at the ready and cracking the ice before getting wet. We jest! It isn’t that bad, usually… But it will get cold and the current Indian Summer conditions being experienced in parts of the UK will seem a distant memory.

Stay tuned for the test reports of both the Tahe Techno Wind Foil 6.3m sail and Ftero Surf 5m Dome wing foiling wing coming soon.
