We’ve been talking about windsurfing a lot of late. That’s pretty reflective of the UK’s current weather – at time of writing (May 21, 2021) it’s blowing dogs off chains! And has been for a while. Summer? Pfft!
Anyway, we digress… Windsurfing has been a staple part of NCW’s make up for a while. We have a rosta of North Coast Wetsuits team riders who windsurf, as well as a loyal customer base of wind heads who use NCW products when out having a blast.
As a brand always looking to evolve NCW is ever on the lookout for new ways to grow as a business. Windsurfing isn’t exactly a new concept, and there are plenty of specialist windsurf retailers dotted around the country. But when the opportunity arose to get involved with Tahe Marine and their windsurfing division (recently rebranded from BIC Windsurfing) we couldn’t resist. These will be shipped direct from the brand and are very much aimed at the target market we see most appeal: freeride windsurfing. And if you’re wondering about our product knowledge with this, don’t worry, we have that covered. For anyone with questions about the Tahe range of windsurf boards we have access to a few fonts of knowledge we can call on if we don’t know the answers ourselves.
