As any watersports nut will know wet gear (wetsuits, boots, gloves and so on) can cause all sorts of issues if plonked on top of dry clothes and/or in the back of vehicles without some kind of barrier. There’s nothing worse than having that lingering smell of wet dog wafting around the inside of your car or van after wet kit’s been dumped without being bagged up. And on wear and tear point this will cause moisture and condensation to build up inside your motor which can be tricky to get rid of.
