The bleddy weather (again)! As of April 2 2021.

Can you Adam and Eve it?! After a few days of fairly warm, mild conditions some parts of the UK are expecting a significant plummet of mercury levels, with even snow forecast for a few locations! Bleddy ‘ell! As us locals would exclaim… Can Mother Nature not make up her mind? It seems not…

This quote from the Met Office regarding next week’s general outlook.

Towards the start of this period we will see a shift from the recent warm and settled weather, with conditions turning wintry and colder for all. A mixture of sunny spells and showers remains likely at first, though cold conditions mean that some of these outbreaks will have some wintriness to them, especially in the north.

Typical innit? The kids are off school again and the weather’s gorn an bleddy got worse! Well, cold at least, as we’re sure some areas will have still enjoy sunny periods.

We have it on good authority that this morning’s sea session (April 2, 2021) was fingertipping frosty. The sun was shining (and still is) but it was nippy for sure. So anyone looking to get wet this Easter holiday will still need that thicker rubber or layers – depending which watery discipline you subscribe to.

Currently, NCW isn’t ‘in the office’ so to speak. But send us a message if you have questions regarding any of our gear. We’ll then respond when we’re back on April 6. In the meantime, if you do get sun then lap it up!
