This isn’t a new thing. Cold Swell was filmed during the winter of 2012 and features a handful of NCW sponsored riders along with some other recognisable faces.
The aim behind this film short was to highlight the UK surf experience – especially in winter. This ain’t California, nor is it Hawaii. But it’s definitely got its own appeal and every surfer who lives and rides in this part of the world loves it (although sometimes may also hate it!) and can’t get enough of it.
We haven’t really shouted too much about Cold Swell but we’re super happy how the film turned out and we think you’ll love it too. With footage from North Cornwall, North Devon and Yorkshire if this doesn’t show what ‘real world surfing’ is like then we don’t know what does – warts ‘n’ all!
