Kids in the sea – there’s still plenty of time yet (with the right wetsuit!).

When we talk about kids we’re actually referring to younger children. Youths, or juniors if you will, can probably cope with colder conditions for longer – in fact, we see this all the. Your littlies, however, will only be able to take so much before it becomes too chilly.

We’re talking a lot about autumn at the moment as some people still see it as a no go season, when actually it’s a great one with warm water still in attendance. This is why, with a correctly fitting, quality wetsuit, your kids can still make use of being in the sea.

Our subject in question (pics) is wearing a Swarm 3mm long arm/leg suit and this has increased his water time by an average of around 30%. We have it on good authority that a 5mm is in the pipeline so further water time guaranteed. Perhaps picking and choosing each session carefully will be needed as we run up to winter proper, but by and large elongated summer for kids is more than doable.

For those not aware NCW stocks a wide range of kid’s wetsuits, from own brand NCW wetties to ones like the Swarm pictured. We have a bunch of new features and technologies imminent as well that’ll further service your offsprings water needs and keep them protected. Stay tuned on that…

In the meantime if you have any questions about NCW kiddy wetsuits then give us a shout.
